To shame her disloyal partner, a Sheffield, U.K., resident known only as Lisa took out a digital billboard ad to expose his infidelity ... and announce she was leaving him.
The billboard, which appears just off the M1 motorway, reads, "To my cheating husband Paul. You deserve each other. When you get home I won't be there. Enjoy your drive to work! Lisa." (Nice use of the exclamation point, in particular.)
According to the billboard's owners, the message appeared for three hours during morning rush hour (presumably Paul's commute). And a spokesperson for Kong Media—the firm that sold Lisa the ad space—said her act of vengeance cost "hundreds of pounds."
Seems a bit expensive, not to mention impersonal. Aren't there any water towers or highway overpasses on Paul's drive to work? Some things are best said with spray paint.
