Finally, a Roomba for your lawn! The Honda Miimo is a robotic lawn mower—the first of its kind, actually—with a self-charging lithium-ion battery, a "continuous cutting system" that keeps the grass healthy (it cuts just 2-3 millimeters of grass at a time, several times each week), a complex system of sensors that keeps it from passing beyond its boundary wire, and less acne than the neighborhood kids you paid to mow your lawn before this thing was invented. I don't know whether to be impressed by its self-sufficiency or terrified of how little human oversight it requires. I've seen machines like this go bad before, and it's not pretty. First they don't need people to function, then they lose respect for our human laws and morals, and before you know it, they're stealing our teeth to make necklaces. Via PSFK.
