A new PSA series from Funny or Die and WomanCare Global features actresses Jessica Biel and Joy Bryant and comedian Whitney Cummings making a bunch of dick jokes. But these aren't your run of the mill dick jokes. Nope. These dick jokes have a purpose!
And that's to education women about reproductive health.
The series, titled "If You Don't Tell Them, Then Who Will?", takes misconceptions about reproductive health and uses them for exaggerated comedic effect.
While the videos are a bit uncomfortable at times—please don't joke about someone even theoretically coughing up a condom ever again—it successfully tackles the ridiculous and abundant misinformation that a lack of sex education can cause and finds a balance between being humorous and informative.
"Lack of education and social stigmas have led to confusion and uncertainty about contraception and reproductive health," Biel, who is also a producer of the series, said in a statement. "As a result, millions of women each year are making uninformed decisions about their own bodies. We thought the best way to encourage women to get educated and start the conversation around our bodies was to make it comically clear that people like me, and other non-experts, should not be the source for this information."
